The Florence Fire Protection District was established in 1953. Since then, we have been dedicated to serving our community and protecting life and property in the district. We serve the Florence, Penrose, Coal Creek, Rockvale, and Williamsburg areas.

Professionally trained and part of your community, we offer our services in Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services. While much of our organization is made up of volunteers, we also have 24/7 paid EMS crews stationed in Florence and Penrose, and a paid firefighter crew Monday-Friday 8am-4pm stationed in Florence.
